Who is affected by the El Paso
and Sempra settlements?
The settlement affects a wide
range of energy users -- including Enron customers, large and small users of electricity and
natural gas -- that suffered damages during the California Energy Crisis. However, only one group
must file a claim to receive El Paso refund money - Non-Core natural gas users.
If you were a Non-Core gas
customer, buying gas from any supplier during 2000 - 2001, including
Enron, you may qualify for the El Paso Refund - click here for

"Our cost for natural
gas skyrocketed this past year due to the energy crisis. Our natural
gas supplier was unable to provide any relief from a seven-fold
increase in market costs. However, ... Utility
Savings & Refund Services... provided advice that enabled us to cut our costs in
half."
This site is dedicated to helping
California noncore natural gas customers that suffered during the California
Energy Crisis. Non-Core natural gas customers may claim Sempra settlement refund
benefits even if they did not receive Sempra natural gas. Former Enron
customers that received noncore natural gas may claim Sempra refund money, even
if they did not receive Sempra natural gas during the California Energy
Crisis. The Sempra settlement affects all natural gas
customers. Noncore natural gas customers are entitled to the Sempra
settlement refund regardless of the Enron bankruptcy filings, or noncore natural gas supply
from other natural gas suppliers.
